The World Cup games start today and I couldn't be more excited! I can't help but think it's been forever since the last one. But its already been four years! Thinking about this whole thing makes me laugh, though because the last World Cup started a week after Kevin left for his mission and I was already counting down the days until he got home. Time flies when your not waiting for a missionary.
Kevin has never really experienced the World Cup so he has a lot of questions and curiosity as to why everyone is so pumped about this whole thing.
This morning we caught a few minutes of the Mexico vs. South Africa game and he asked:
"What is that noise?!" referring to the constant buzzing noise
I laughed. "They are these horns that people blow."
"Oh, weird."
I'm happy to share the World Cup experience with him this time.
