Ohhhh-six!

Four years ago I graduated from high school with this amazing group of friends.

And this month (and I guess last month too) all of those friends have graduated from college. College!

I've said it before and i'll say it again; I'm amazed by how fast time flies!

Lately I've been thinking a lot about how much has changed in the past four years and it's funny to think about where I thought I would be and where I actually am. Let's just say being married, living in Utah, and going to BYU were not in the plans.

With that, I've also been thinking about what life would be like if I had carried out my initial plan: be single, live in Westwood, and graduate from UCLA in four years. I can't even imagine what that would be like. That's weird though... being single, living in a college town with an apartment of girls, and graduating from college in four is normal for a girl between 20 and 22.

However weird it may be I have loved every minute of it (minus the first few months I moved to Utah). I often reminisce of the glorious two years in the dorms at UCLA with my Saxon homies (you know who you are) and my best girl friend and roommate, Steph. And the almost two year marriage with my other best friend and eternal boyfriend has been quite glorious as well! I just couldn't live without him (although his messy and bodily tendencies I could).

Anyway, I can't believe it's been four years and we're already old enough to be nine-to-fivers!!

Congratulations to all my "ohhhh-six" besties who graduated!
Most of you probably won't read this except for maybe Caitlin R. Thanks girl!

  1. Hey Bree! It's so crazy reading this because I can relate to it so much. I also definitely did not think I'd be married and living in another state. I thought I'd be in CA going to college there. & I also did not like my first few months here in WA. I agree- I cannot believe people from our class are graduating this year! It was nice to read the post and be able to relate.
