First Day

Today was our first day back at school... a very surreal day to say the least.

As if being back at school wasn't weird enough... the weather and air was absolutely disgusting!

No joke, I felt like I was back home in Southern California--an unpleasant foggy, smoggy, smoky air lingered in the air all day.

Was anyone else completely thrown off by the air today? Or is this typical for utah? We were expecting to come back to the crisp clean air that we're used to in Utah. We often joke about being able to see hikers and mountain lions lingering along the "Y" mountainside. That definitely wasn't happening today.

On another note, there were a bazillion women and men with strollers on campus today... I saw more today than I did all year last year. Just sayin'...
